Syncrude Canada Adopts InterPlan Systems’ Project Planning Solution

Houston, TX — Sep. 10, 2007 – InterPlan Systems Inc., today announced that Syncrude Canada, is the world’s largest producer of crude oil from oil sands and the largest single source producer in Canada, is deploying InterPlan Systems’ eTaskMaker project planning software within its refineries. The rollout will provide the technology framework to create standard processes for estimating, planning and scheduling all maintenance projects.

Syncrude Canada had previously used a variety of business processes for planning project work, including manual, non-computerized efforts. However, the company has committed itself to enforcing standardized business processes in order to improve best practices and its competitive edge.
