Multi-craft Resource Power Planning Tips

We have posted the fourth in a series of power planning tips (see the Equipment Mobilization and Demobilization Power Planning Tip if you missed the last installment) for the eTaskMaker project planning system to the client file repository. This month, the planning tip covers the handling of multi-craft labor resources. The tips are available now for eTaskMaker clients.

New ATC enhancements available

A new update for ATC Professional is now available from the the client download repository that includes new functions for analyzing progress with respect to the baseline schedule. The update also includes a couple of new options for formatting the Bar Chart report.

eTaskMaker Module Updates for November

InterPlan Systems has released updates to approximately 50 eTaskMaker modules to include options/adjustments for hazardous environment work (requiring rubber suits and/or SCBA). A few of the updated modules also include updated estimating formulas and additional tasks.

Free eTaskMaker and ATC Professional Seminar Set for December 8th

Our most recent seminar was well received by attendees from Total Petrochemicals, Bay Ltd., Air Products and Chemicals, Rohm and Haas and Mundy.

The next scheduled free eTaskMaker seminar is set for Thursday, December 8th. The seminar will show how to use the eTaskMaker Wizard and ATC Professional demo to produce cost reports for preparing AFE budget estimates.

*NEW* – eTaskMaker Lite

InterPlan Systems now offers a more affordable version of their eTaskMaker project planning software for clients outside of the refining and petrochemical industries. Dubbed eTaskMaker Lite, this new version offers more attractive licensing terms for clients who do not need access to the planning library for process plant maintenance that is bundled with the eTaskMaker standard version.

While eTaskMaker Lite is fully functional (with the exception of being able to utilize InterPlan’s library of “public” modules), there are a few important differences in the licensing terms versus eTaskMaker standard. Please refer to the eTaskMaker Lite page for more details.

• Compressor Motor (Rev.1) – (updated) Improved estimating formula based on motor size (in HP).
• Blind Installation (Rev.1) – (updated) Improved PDM schedule logic.
• Drums (Rev.7) – (updated) PDM schedule logic was updated. Estimating formula for crew size on blind removal was updated.
• Fugitive Emissions Identification (Pre Turnaround) – (new) For capturing the effort in tagging leaks pre-turnaround.

New SAP Work Order and Materials Import Facility for ATC Professional

A new update for ATC Professional is now available from the the client download repository that includes new functions to import Work Orders and Materials from SAP. There is a text file and sample data for testing the new feature included in the update file.
